Pure wool, hand knitted and comfortably warm. Hand knitted woollen fisherman's hat based on an original pattern from 1900 from the Frisian fishing village Moddergat.
The description of this fisherman's hat is based upon an original pattern of a hat worn by fisherman Jitze van der Lei from the Frisian fishing village Moddergat around 1900.
The hat is made from Waddenwol®: wool that comes from North-East Friesland, where it is shorn and spun. Waddenwol® is a local product marketed by 't Fiskershúske museum in Moddergat.
